Foundation Programs

Caring for our neighbors is important to us. Coos-Curry Electric Charitable Foundation (CCECF) is deeply connected to our community, proudly providing support to CCEC members, local charities, organizations, and events.

The foundation focuses on creating, finding, and supporting charitable programs that improve the lives of individuals within the scope of electric cooperative principles.

Bright Ideas Grants

Our program puts resources directly into teachers' hands. Bright Ideas grants fund innovative STEAM projects and educational initiatives in our local schools, helping educators bring their vision to life and giving students unforgettable learning experiences.

Dolly Parton Imagination Library

We've partnered with the Imagination Library to ensure young children in Curry County receive free, high-quality books delivered to their homes each month. Early literacy is the foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Regional STEM Science Fairs

We sponsor regional science fairs that celebrate scientific curiosity and innovation. These events showcase student research, inspire the next generation of problem-solvers, and recognize the importance of STEM education.

Luck of the Draw Scholarships

We believe higher education should be accessible to deserving students in our community. Our scholarships help graduates pursue college and vocational training, removing financial barriers to their future.

Trade-Based Scholarship

Recognizing that skilled trades are vital to our economy and community, we invest in students pursuing apprenticeships and training in trades from electrical work to plumbing to construction. These scholarships create pathways to rewarding, well-paying careers.

4H Sponsorship

We're proud to support 4H programs that build leadership, confidence, and life skills in young people throughout our region. Through hands-on learning and mentorship, 4H participants develop the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond. Open in Fall 2026.
